The Bad Abads

All in the family

It’s all in the Abad family, and President Aquino staunchly defends his pick of the Abad family members stationed within his administration.

As for Budget Secretary Butch Abad’s spouse, Rep. Henedina Abad, who is slated to head the House of Representatives’ appropriations committee — and will likely get this House post since it has already been bared by the incoming Speaker, Sonny Belmonte, that major House committee chairmanships would be Aquino’s decision — she says candidly that there is no such thing as delicadeza, claiming that her daughter and son, Julia, who is Presidential Management Staff (PMS) head, with Cabinet status who will be handling Aquino’s huge pork barrel; and Luis Abad, who is chief of staff of Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, as well as her husband, the Budget secretary, are all qualified to take their positions in the Aquino administration.

“What is delicadeza?” Henedina Abad asked House reporters doing the story on the presence of too many Abads in the Aquino government, adding that there is no such thing as delicadeza.

The Abad family, bereft of delicadeza, as the Batanes representative herself admitted, since she interprets delicadeza as the antonym of competence, which she claims all of the Abads are equipped with, is now in full control of the government funds — from Finance and its agencies’ revenues, to budget funds to scrutinizing, or non-scrutinizing the funds, to congressional allocations, to disbursal of funds and spending–as the family directs.

Predictably, Noynoy Aquino came to the defense of the Abads, saying he has violated no law by appointing all the Abads in his administration, and pointing out that apart from Butch Abad being his longtime mentor, and his PMS chief having been his chief of staff, none of them has been tainted with corruption.

One wonders then why Noynoy and his sanctimonious ilk kept on criticizing Gloria Arroyo for having so many of her relatives in government. Or is it now a matter of Gloria being morally wrong in getting too many of her relatives in government and Noynoy being morally correct in having all the Abads, plus a few more of his relatives peddling influence while Noynoy sits in Malacañang?

So what does Noynoy call being a party to robbing the people’s sovereign will and waltzing, for five long years, with an illegitimate president whom he and Butch Abad supported and even actively pushed to be proclaimed president by Congress despite the blatant fraud evidenced in the election documents? Honest? Incorruptible? Defender of the people?

Noynoy and his Liberal Party (LP) chose to portray themselves as the “righteous” leaders, untainted by corruption and anomalies, and out to change the nation while bringing in reforms and eradicating all the claimed evils in society.

Since they chose to portray themselves as the “good” while all others are branded evil, these “holier than thou” government officials — led by the “most holy” Noynoy Aquino, must perforce be measured by higher standards. And do they fail those high standards.

It must then be asked: Why is Aquino defending the Abads who admittedly have no delicadeza to speak of.

If the Abads do not know the meaning of delicadeza, which is the rough equivalent of having a sense of propriety, or more aptly, having no shame, how can the nation then expect propriety and shame in what they — all four family members, in virtual control of government funds, their allocations of the funds, and even the disbursing of the funds — say and do, having no shame, and no delicadeza?

Since the Abads give no importance to delicadeza, anomalies, irregularities and even blatant malversation of public funds by party mates, relatives of the big chief, and even Cabinet members’ scamming the Filipinos would not be seen as wrong or shameful — as the Aquino government does not bother about delicadeza.

Come to think of it: When the PeaceBonds scam came into being, no one heard a peep from the LP, much less the Abads, with Butch Abad even being part of the infamous Hyatt 10.

If the Abads believed that there was no scam in the PeaceBonds, what then of other scams that will be perpetrated under the Aquino administration in the coming months, and even years, since for them, there is no such thing as delicadeza?

Here comes the Bride!

Dream Lover!

Let’s talk about PeNoy’s controversial love life! Perhaps all the single ladies wanted to be part of his life huh?! Not because he is handsome, but he has  fame and fortune that makes him look handsome (cringing hardcore!) So what’s the gist of his future wifey?!

Quality time together 🙂

Quality Time? ka diyan. Election is over and Shalani must to move over. The Aquino’s already used her from top to bottom, side by side and everything! Now, you can see her beside the dumpsite. Coming from a reliable source, It is not Soledad Shalani that PeNoy will marry.

The Aquino’s consider Shalani as a disgrace to their family and that’s the true colors of yellow blooded animals! Knowing Kris Aquino… what more shall I say. Pangalan pa lang alam mo nang di makatao!

Anyway, so who is the one that PeNOY will propose for marriage….

Ms. Liz uy (make-up artist and Ex-GF ni Papa John Llyod)

Liz Uy is one of Kris Aquino’s favorites! She’s also a Chinese, so fix-marriage is accepted. Now, boo hoo to Shalani and may the force be with her. Paglaban mo ang pag-ibig niyo ni PeNOY! 🙂

Late Mr. President Noynoy Aquino

Sweaty Victory for Penoy Simpson!

Now prove to us how competent you are, aside having Kris Aquino by your side with her pet Boy Abunda together with the whole cast of Glitzy celebrities.

And now, may I ask… why did your designer made Charice looks like Snow White? or is that you: Bumble Bee Girl?  As I turned on the television last June 30th I thought I was watching ASAP & SOP combined concert, di pala!  inauguration rites pala.

So I guess, Charice you have your seven dwarfs behind you 🙂

Oh well, she gave justice to our National Anthem naman and aside from that we should be proud of our Li’l Charice because she’s now on:

Well, congrats to Charice!

It was quiet a show! kulang na lang ilatag na ang lamesa para sa baraha at inuman! very Penoy! 🙂 I can’t help but wonder until when Penoy will hide his true colors?! I mean, No wang-wang? hello naman… hokay so be it. Then travel earlier like we normal people do para di ka malate Mr. President of the Philippines 2010. Kami ang Boss mo kaya sumunod ka! arf arf!

Not too impressive especially when you are going to mass:

President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III arrived 30 minutes late for the red mass, a Catholic mass celebrating the 50th day after Christ’s resurrection.

Aquino arrived at Manila Cathedral 10a.m. The mass was originally scheduled at 9a.m.

In a chance interview with reporters upon his arrival, Aquino explained why he was late.

“May konting problema sa sikmura kaninang umaga [I had problems with my stomach],” said Aquino.

In a separate press conference held at Malacanang, Aquino said: “Main reason was I had an upset stomach. It took me a while to deal with it.”

Aquino noted that he also had a hard time catching sleep the night before, following two power outages at his Times St. residence. Aquino said in jest he was almost compelled to call the Energy Secretary.

Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda meanwhile said Aquino went home late last night after attending a fellowship with new members of the Liberal Party.

Despite being late, Aquino led the Prayer for Nation’s Leaders.

The mass, led by Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales, was attented by Vice President Jejomar Binay, Chief Justice Renato Corona and some members of Aquino’s Cabinet.

P.S.

Try to impress us with other things aside from being late and no wang-wang pluez!
